The water spray classification method divides the surface hydrophobicity of insulators into seven levels: HC1-HC7. HC1 corresponds to the state with the best hydrophobicity, while HC7 corresponds to the surface with complete hydrophilicity. This system uses two methods to classify the hydrophobicity status of the insulator surface.
