The water spray classification method divides the surface hydrophobicity of insulators into seven levels: HC1-HC7. HC1 corresponds to the state with the best hydrophobicity, while HC7 corresponds to the surface with complete hydrophilicity. This device uses two methods to classify the hydrophobicity status of the insulator surface.
(1) Live testing of various composite insulators, testing of hydrophobicity of silicone rubber and RTV spraying materials;
(2) Wireless remote control controls the electric water spraying part to automatically spray water, and the electric water spraying part automatically performs fast and accurate atomization and spraying water, ensuring the safety of operators.
(3) Obtain high-definition hydrophobicity images through high-definition cameras, and the analysis system calculates the hydrophobicity level based on the information obtained from the hydrophobicity images.
(4) The hydrophobicity analysis software has functions such as automatically and accurately analyzing the hydrophobicity level, recording various data and graphics for each inspection, and being able to query the inspection records for each time and string of insulators.
